Subscription Terms
1. Plans and Pricing
OtoTheory offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. The Free plan lets you build chord progressions, use 5 groove patterns, 20 presets, and save up to 3 sketches locally. The Pro plan unlocks all features for $2.99/month (¥500/month in Japan).

2. Free Trial
First-time subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial, managed through the App Store. During the trial, all Pro features are available — including unlimited saves and iCloud sync. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
3. Reward Ad Temporary Access
Free plan users can watch a short reward ad to unlock most Pro features for 15 minutes. During this period, you can use MIDI export, all 15 grooves, section editing, advanced chords, and ads are hidden.
However, unlimited saves and iCloud sync are not available through reward ads. These features require a paid Pro subscription or the 7-day free trial.
4. Payment
Payment is processed through Apple's in-app purchase system (App Store). TH Quest does not handle your payment information directly. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You will be charged within 24 hours before the current period ends unless you cancel beforehand.
5. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Apple's settings:
After cancellation, you can continue using Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
6. After Cancellation
Your data is never deleted when you cancel. Here's what happens:

| Local sketches | Remain on your device. You can still view and edit them. |
| iCloud data | Stays in your iCloud account (part of your personal storage). |
| Saving limit | Returns to 3 sketches. Existing sketches are not deleted. |
| Re-subscribing | iCloud sync resumes and all sketches become accessible again. |
7. Refunds
Refunds are processed according to Apple's policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
