Subscription Terms
1. Plans and Pricing
OtoTheory offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. The Free plan includes all core features: AI chord import, 50+ presets, 19 groove patterns (4/4 + 6/8 + 12/8 time signatures on iOS), all chords, OtoTheory AI (all modes), section management, fretboard visualization, key & scale detection, 3 local saves, and text export. The Pro plan adds unlimited MIDI/audio export, unlimited saves + iCloud sync, Pro-exclusive grooves, and ad-free experience. Pricing varies by region and is displayed in your local currency on the App Store (¥500/month in Japan).

2. Free Trial
First-time subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial, managed through the App Store. During the trial, all Pro features are available — including unlimited saves and iCloud sync. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
3. Free Plan Export
Free plan users get a 7-day free trial of all Pro features (unlimited MIDI/Audio/PDF exports, no ads, iCloud sync). Cancel anytime through the App Store. After the trial, exports become Pro-only.
4. Payment
Payment is processed through Apple's in-app purchase system (App Store). TH Quest does not handle your payment information directly. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You will be charged within 24 hours before the current period ends unless you cancel beforehand.
5. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Apple's settings:
After cancellation, you can continue using Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
6. After Cancellation
Your data is never deleted when you cancel. Here's what happens:

| Local sketches | Remain on your device. You can still view and edit them. |
| iCloud data | Stays in your iCloud account (part of your personal storage). |
| Saving limit | Returns to 3 sketches. Existing sketches are not deleted. |
| Re-subscribing | iCloud sync resumes and all sketches become accessible again. |
7. Refunds
Refunds are processed according to Apple's policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
